Pastor John Mackall and Michelle Mackall
I have been a follower of Jesus since age 25, and I don’t see that ever changing. I have been blessed with an incredible wife, Michelle, and four awesome children, John, Kyle, Rachel, and Tim. God and my family are my first loves; but I also love football, fishing, biking, swimming, competing in triathlons, skiing, and almost anything outdoors. I desperately want to see others have a relationship with Jesus their creator. And God’s Word still thrills me!
Associate Pastor Matt Kinsey – Family Ministry
It’s great to meet you! I am a lover of Jesus and people. I have been in full time church ministry since 2014 and currently serving here at CrossLife as the Family Ministries Pastor. Before that I have been in public service since I was 17. Starting with the U.S. Coast Guard and retiring from Baltimore City Fire Department as a Firefighter/Paramedic. I am married to Erica. Together we have five children; Abigail, Madison, Emma, Jameson and Charlotte.
Carol McGinnis – Administrative Assistant
I have lived in Maryland since 1974 and fulfilled a successful career as a special education teacher with Prince George’s County Public Schools. After retiring in 2015, I was looking for where God was leading me. And, as He so often does, the opportunity to serve as a part-time Administrative Assistant position at CrossLife became available. I just had to take it and did so, with the support and encouragement of my husband, Chuck.
Patricia Vaughn – Praise Team Ministry Leader
I am grateful to God for transforming my life and opening my eyes and heart to receive the gift of salvation. I’m a new resident of Maryland-hailing from Chicago. I’m grateful that the Lord answered my prayers for a church home here. I feel right at home with my CrossLife Family. I was naturally inclined towards the music ministry, because I have always loved music and singing. I am a freelance travel and spa writer and reviewer. My career background is as a legal professional, but my life’s profession is as an ambassador for Christ. To God be the glory!
Melinda Hamilton – Audio Visual Team Ministry Leader
I never thought I’d share a title with Paul of Tarsus; nevertheless here I am today, a “servant of Christ, Jesus” (Rom 1). My passion is serving and my gifting is music. I’ve shared both passions at CrossLife Community Church since its beginning. God willing, I will continue to proclaim the Gospel through music and service for the rest of my days — even into eternity!
Joshua Taylor – Audio Visual Tech / Web Tech
I’ve been at CrossLife as an Audio Visual technician for 4 years now. It’s been great using my talents to serve God and the community! Recently I’ve taken on role as web tech so stay tuned for changes in the future!
Matthew Eastman – CLYMB Youth Ministry Leader
I began attending CrossLife Community Church at the age of 8. I have had an active role in the church through Track and Field Camp and CLYMB. I am currently studying Information Systems at UMBC, with a Music minor, and am an active member of the Intervarsity ministry.
I have a real passion for exploring and sharing my faith. To lead CLYMB is a huge blessing for me. Along with faith, I have a real love for the game of Soccer and for Music. I look forward to all that is in store for me and CLYMB in my time as leader.
Melissa Brent – Nursery/Preschool Lead
